RRP stands for Recommended retail price, an e-commerce & retail abbreviation.
Price a manufacturer suggests retailers charge for a product, used in the UK, Ireland, Australia and other countries and often printed on packaging or used as the reference for advertised discounts.
Example: Now £39.99, down from an RRP of £59.99.
Usage notes
The US equivalent is MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price). In the UK and EU, a supplier may recommend a price but generally may not force retailers to follow it, because resale price maintenance is prohibited under competition law. Advertising a "saving" against an RRP that the product rarely sold at can breach consumer protection rules.
