JSX stands for JavaScript XML, an Internet & web abbreviation.
A syntax extension that lets developers write HTML-like markup directly inside JavaScript, used mainly with React to describe user interfaces. Build tools compile JSX into ordinary JavaScript function calls.
Example: The component returns JSX, so remember to wrap sibling elements in a fragment.
Usage notes
Introduced by Facebook along with React in 2013. The official documentation rarely expands the name, but "JavaScript XML" is the common explanation. Attributes differ slightly from HTML, for example className instead of class. Files may use the .jsx extension, or .tsx with TypeScript, and libraries such as Preact and Solid also use JSX.
