Because several countries use rupees, the ISO codes INR, PKR, LKR, NPR and MUR are clearer in international contexts. India introduced the ₹ symbol in 2010, but Rs remains common in handwriting and older systems. The word rupee comes from Sanskrit rupya, "wrought silver".
2. Serbia (RS)

The language code sr means Serbian, while SR is the country code for Suriname. Kosovo, which declared independence in 2008, is not recognized by Serbia.
3. Reasonable suspicion (RS)
Law & Legal · Criminal Law Abbreviations
Legal standard allowing police to briefly stop and question a person, and frisk for weapons if they reasonably believe the person is armed, based on specific facts suggesting criminal activity. It requires less certainty than probable cause.
Example: The suppression hearing turned on whether the officer had RS to stop the car in the first place.
The standard comes from Terry v. Ohio (1968), which is why such encounters are called Terry stops. A hunch is not enough; officers must point to specific, articulable facts. Illinois v. Wardlow (2000) held that unprovoked flight in a high-crime area can contribute to reasonable suspicion.
