MSBA stands for Master of Science in Business Analytics, a degree abbreviation.
One-year quantitative master's covering statistics, machine learning, optimization, SQL and data visualization applied to business problems. UT Austin, USC and many other universities offer STEM-designated MSBA programs that attract large numbers of international students.
Example: The MSBA capstone paired students with a retailer to forecast demand across 300 stores.
Usage notes
Because most MSBA programs carry STEM designation, international graduates on F-1 visas can work in the US for up to three years through OPT and its STEM extension. MIT Sloan's equivalent is titled Master of Business Analytics (MBAn).
