MiM stands for Master in Management, a degree abbreviation.
Pre-experience business master's, usually one to two years, for recent graduates with little or no work experience. It is especially popular in Europe, where HEC Paris, ESSEC, London Business School and the University of St. Gallen run highly ranked programs.
Example: The Financial Times ranks HEC Paris's MiM among the best in the world almost every year.
Usage notes
Unlike an MBA, a MiM is taken straight after a bachelor's degree. American schools offer comparable programs under names such as Master of Management Studies (Duke Fuqua) or Master of Management (Michigan Ross). Graduates usually enter consulting, finance or corporate rotational programs.
