Japan's flag carrier, based in Tokyo, operating from Haneda and Narita and a member of oneworld. Its red crane tail logo is called the tsurumaru.

ICAO code JAL; callsign "Japan Air." Founded in 1951 and later privatized. JAL went bankrupt in 2010 and was restructured under Kyocera founder Kazuo Inamori, returning to profit quickly. JAL Flight 123 in 1985 remains the deadliest single-aircraft accident in history.

SBL and Chicago's traditional list do not abbreviate Joel; Catholic Bibles and Chicago's short forms use Jl. Because of different chapter divisions, Joel 2:28 in English Bibles is 3:1 in Hebrew Bibles. The prophet's date is uncertain.
