eNPS stands for Employee Net Promoter Score, a human resources abbreviation.

Engagement measure asking employees how likely they are, on a 0 to 10 scale, to recommend their organization as a place to work. The score is the percentage of promoters (9 to 10) minus the percentage of detractors (0 to 6), ranging from -100 to +100.

Example: Our eNPS rose from 12 to 31 after the new parental leave policy launched.

Usage notes

Adapted from the customer Net Promoter Score that Fred Reichheld introduced in the Harvard Business Review in 2003. Its single question makes it easy to track frequently, but it explains little on its own, so it is usually paired with open-ended comments.
