DRtg stands for Defensive rating, a basketball abbreviation.
Points allowed per 100 possessions, measured for teams or estimated for individual players. Lower is better, and elite defenses allow well under the league-average rating.

Usage notes
Team defensive rating is reliable, but individual DRtg is hard to estimate from box scores because good defense often shows up as missed shots rather than steals or blocks. NBA.com and Basketball-Reference calculate it slightly differently.
