Usage notes
SBL writes 1 Chr, Chicago's traditional list 1 Chron., and short forms 1 Chr. Greek Bibles call the books Paralipomenon, "things omitted", treating them as a supplement to Samuel and Kings. Jewish tradition credits Ezra as the author.
