Governing body of the US Republican Party, which organizes the national convention, raises money, maintains voter data and supports Republican candidates. It is led by a chair elected by committee members from every state and territory.
Example: The RNC filed a lawsuit challenging the county's voter-roll maintenance.
Founded in 1856, two years after the party itself. Each state and territory sends a national committeeman, a national committeewoman and its state party chair to the committee. "RNC" is also used informally for the Republican National Convention held every four years.

Submission hold applied from behind the opponent, with one arm around the neck and the other locking it in place, cutting off blood flow to the brain. It is one of the most common finishes in MMA.
Example: He took the back and finished with an RNC in the second round.
"Naked" means the choke uses no gi or cloth. In judo it is called hadaka-jime. Fighters "tap out" to submit before losing consciousness.
