ORtg stands for Offensive rating, a basketball abbreviation.

Points produced or scored per 100 possessions. For teams it is points scored per 100 possessions; for individuals it is Dean Oliver's estimate of points produced per 100 possessions used.

Example: Their ORtg of 121.5 led the league by more than two points.

Usage notes

Introduced in Oliver's book Basketball on Paper (2004). Pace-adjusted ratings let analysts compare fast and slow teams fairly. Net rating (NetRtg) is offensive rating minus defensive rating, the best single measure of team strength.
