EORI stands for Economic Operators Registration and Identification number, a logistics, supply chain & trade abbreviation.
Identification number that businesses need to import or export goods to or from the European Union or the United Kingdom, used on customs declarations.
Example: Our courier can't clear the parcel into France without the importer's EORI.
Usage notes
The EU introduced EORI numbers in 2009. Since Brexit, UK traders need a GB EORI, and those moving goods to or from Northern Ireland may also need an EORI starting with XI.
