arcmin stands for Arcminute, a math abbreviation.
One sixtieth of a degree of angle, written ′ (prime). It measures small angles in astronomy, optics, navigation and shooting: the full Moon spans about 31 arcmin, and normal human visual acuity is about 1 arcmin.
Example: Each click moves the point of impact 0.25 arcmin, a quarter of an MOA.
Usage notes
Shooters call it MOA (minute of angle), which spans about 1.047 inches at 100 yards. The nautical mile was originally defined as one arcminute of latitude. The prime symbol for arcminutes is easily confused with the foot mark.
