UNDP stands for United Nations Development Programme, an international organization abbreviation.

Usage notes
Formed in 1965 from two earlier UN programs, it is headquartered in New York. Its annual Human Development Report, first published in 1990, ranks countries by the Human Development Index, which combines life expectancy, education and income. It is funded entirely by voluntary contributions.
