O/U stands for Over/under, an other sports abbreviation.

Betting market on whether the combined score of a game will be over or under a number set by sportsbooks. Also used for player props, such as a quarterback's passing yards.

Example: The O/U for Sunday's game is 47.5 points.

Usage notes

Also called the total. Half-point lines prevent a tie, or push. Over/under lines also appear in futures markets, such as a team's season win total. In everyday speech "over-under" can describe any estimate with a threshold.
