NC A&T stands for North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, a university abbreviation.
Largest historically Black university in the US by enrollment, founded in 1891 in Greensboro and known for engineering and agriculture. On February 1, 1960, four NC A&T freshmen began the Woolworth's lunch counter sit-ins that spread across the South.
