MNL stands for Ninoy Aquino International Airport, an airport code abbreviation.
Main airport of the Philippines and the hub of Philippine Airlines, located in Pasay and Paranaque in Metro Manila. It is named for Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., who was assassinated there in 1983.

Usage notes
ICAO code RPLL. Aquino, an opposition leader, was shot on the airport tarmac as he returned from exile, an event that helped trigger the 1986 People Power Revolution. Its terminals are spread around the airfield and are not connected airside. Management was transferred to a private consortium in 2024.
