EET stands for Eastern European Time, a time zone abbreviation.
Two hours ahead of UTC, Eastern European Time is the winter time of Finland, the Baltic states, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Cyprus, and the year-round time of Libya and Russia's Kaliningrad exclave.
Example: The Helsinki office opens at 9:00 EET, one hour ahead of Stockholm.
Usage notes
In summer the European members of the zone shift to EEST (UTC+3). Egypt also uses EET and reintroduced daylight saving in 2023 after several years without it. Kaliningrad's year-round UTC+2 puts it an hour behind Moscow.
