Example: The feature arrives in 3GPP Release 18, the first set of 5G-Advanced specifications.

Usage notes

3GPP was founded in December 1998 by standards bodies from Europe (ETSI), the US (ATIS), Japan (ARIB and TTC), China (CCSA), South Korea (TTA) and later India (TSDSI). Despite the "3rd generation" name, it now covers all later generations. Major milestones include Release 8 (LTE) and Release 15 (first 5G). Companies submit thousands of technical contributions to its working groups.
