T20 stands for Twenty20, an other sports abbreviation.
Short form of cricket in which each team bats for a maximum of 20 overs, with matches lasting about three hours. It powers franchise leagues such as the IPL and has its own World Cup.

Usage notes
Introduced in English county cricket in 2003; the first men's T20 International (T20I) was played in 2005 between New Zealand and Australia. India won the first T20 World Cup in 2007. Cricket returns to the Olympics in T20 format at Los Angeles 2028.
