Example: Posterior drawer positive with tibial sag; MRI shows PCL tear, managed nonoperatively.
Isolated PCL tears are less common than ACL tears and often do well with rehabilitation focused on the quadriceps. Combined injuries involving the posterolateral corner usually need surgery. In ophthalmology PCL can mean posterior chamber lens.
