ICCID stands for Integrated Circuit Card Identifier, a telecom abbreviation.
Serial number of a SIM card, typically 19 or 20 digits, printed on the card and stored in its chip. Carriers use it to activate SIMs and link them to accounts.
Example: To activate the replacement SIM, enter the ICCID printed on the card.
Usage notes
ICCIDs follow the ITU-T E.118 standard and begin with 89, the telecommunications industry code, followed by a country code and issuer identifier. Unlike the IMSI, the ICCID identifies the physical card rather than the subscription. eSIM profiles also carry ICCIDs, shown in the phone's settings.
