Usage notes
Leap day, February 29, is added in years divisible by 4, except century years not divisible by 400; the next leap days fall in 2028 and 2032. February and January were the last months added to the Roman calendar, a reform traditionally credited to King Numa. Under AP style it is abbreviated Feb. only with a specific date. Black History Month is observed in February in the US and Canada.
