Usage notes

US adoption accelerated after the HITECH Act of 2009 provided incentive payments for "meaningful use" of certified systems. Large vendors include Epic and Oracle Health (formerly Cerner). The 21st Century Cures Act requires that patients be able to access most of their notes electronically without delay.
