admr. stands for Administrator, a genealogy abbreviation.

Names the person appointed by a court to settle the estate of someone who died without a will, or whose will named no willing executor, in probate records and genealogical abstracts.

Example: Letters of administration granted to Jas. Hale, admr. of the estate of Wm. Hale, dec'd.

Usage notes

The female form, administratrix, is abbreviated admx. Administration bonds and inventories filed by administrators often list heirs and property, making them valuable genealogical sources. An administrator differs from an executor (exr.), who is named in the will itself.
