ABLE stands for Achieving a Better Life Experience account, a personal finance abbreviation.

Example: Her parents opened an ABLE account so she could save her paychecks without jeopardizing her SSI.

Usage notes

Created by the ABLE Act of 2014 and run by states, often alongside their 529 programs, which is why they are sometimes called 529A accounts.
