UAA stands for Undeliverable as addressed, a mail and postal abbreviation.
USPS term for mail that cannot be delivered as addressed, because of a move, an incomplete address, a vacancy or a refusal. UAA mail is forwarded, returned or discarded depending on its class and endorsements.

Usage notes
Mailers print endorsements such as "Return Service Requested" or "Address Service Requested" to tell USPS how to handle UAA pieces.
