IDRC
Stands forI don't really care
CategoriesTexting & Internet Slang

IDRC stands for I don't really care, a texting and chat abbreviation.

Softened indifference that sounds more relaxed than a flat IDC, as in "idrc where we eat." It usually means the writer is happy to go along with someone else's choice.

Example: Idrc which hotel we pick as long as there's a pool.

Usage notes

The word "really" lowers the edge, so it often means "I'm flexible" rather than "go away." Common among Gen Z texters, and much less likely than IDC to start an argument.
