Privacy law certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), offered in regional versions such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E (Europe), CIPP/C (Canada) and CIPP/A (Asia). It covers privacy laws, regulations and enforcement.

Usage notes
The IAPP also offers the CIPM for privacy program management and the CIPT for privacy technology. CIPP/E is especially popular after the EU's General Data Protection Regulation took effect in 2018. Holders renew every two years.
