BTh stands for Bachelor of Theology, a degree abbreviation.
Undergraduate theology degree offered by Bible colleges, seminaries and some universities, focused on biblical studies, doctrine, church history and ministry. In the UK and Commonwealth it is often a ministerial training qualification, while in the US it appears mainly at Bible colleges.
Example: The Bible college awards a BTh after four years of study, including Greek and Hebrew.
Usage notes
Also written B.Th. or ThB. It is generally less advanced than a BD or MDiv for ordination purposes. Accredited US programs usually hold accreditation from the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) or a regional accreditor.
